SG851R Big Bore Steering Gear

The PSC Motorsports SG851R Big Bore Steering Box with Cylinder Assist Ports is a brand new replacement unit for the notoriously problem-prone factory steering found in 1994–2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks.

This steering gear was designed around the 2010 and newer Dodge XD platform and carefully modified for direct bolt-in installation using OEM pressure and return lines and the OEM 36-spline pitman arm.

To eliminate the common issue of “Dodge steering wander,” the lower bearing size has been increased from 35mm to 45mm, reducing sector shaft deflection and delivering more precise, stable steering performance.

NOTE:
PSC is not aware of any aftermarket steering gearbox braces, including the SB300K, that are compatible with the SG851R.
